Carriage House Academy was founded by Kip Michaels back in 1996 after the staff closed down the Arthur Murray of Mishawaka.  Throughout many years after Carriage House Academy was formed it was still known as the top dance studio in the South Bend and Mishawaka area.  Sadly to say in 2003 Carriage House closed its doors due to Kip moving out of state. 

 

In May of 2006 Kip Michaels gave ownership of Carriage House Academy to Daniel Cribbs.  On August 4, 2006 Carriage House Academy of Ballroom Dancing reopened its doors.  The same traditions that were set in place years ago by Kip are still carried on today. 

 

After a three year shutdown, Daniel and his staff at Carriage House Academy of Ballroom Dancing are bringing back the quality and elegance of Ballroom Dancing to this area.  We have students coming from as far south as Plymouth, IN and as far north as Benton Harbor, MI.  We are striving to show that Carriage House Academy is Michiana’s Premier Ballroom Dance Studio.
